Reyna Zenas walked closer towards the cliffs, this was one of her favorite place to be. It's so quiet and peaceful, almost a place to think and be alone. There were times that people wander around here looking for the some thing, but luckily there was no one here at the time being. But it could change at anytime.
Standing at the edge of the cliff, Reyna crossed her arms over her chest, but she was still alert and ready if someone choose to attack her. She hate fighting, though she will defend herself if she had to. A good fighter never let their guard down, or get into an vulnerable position.
She looked out over the water, watching the horizon. It was beautiful even in this Midday hour. She sighed slightly but perked up when she heard a noise. It was still at a distance, but she was ready for anything.

Lachlan[/b]
Lachlan left after his brief conversation with Daclamitus. The Temple was the one place where no one would be able to bother him when he needed a break.
After all, he was still in the midst of planning the arrival of the royal party. He sighed deeply, thinking about the sacrifice he was going to have to make. As prince, he was pledge to the elven princess, Shalmea. As a guardian it was a serious problem, but it was his duty so he would follow his father's wishes.
He stepped up the path from the bottom of the cliff trail and caught the sight of someone in the middle of the path. As he approached, he cautious nodded, watching for some signs of a possible trap.
"Good afternoon, milady," Lachlan said, stopping just out of sword distance from her. "I hope you are well this fine day."

Reyna looked towards the male who spoke, recognizing who he is. She never actually met him before, but she heard about him, and seen him from afar. She nodded to his question. "I am sir. And you?" She relaxed a little, but not fully, a true fighter never relax fully because you never know of awaiting danger. She turned her body to face him, thinking it was rude if she didn't. "What brings you here?"
She brought her hands up to her hair and pulled it back into a loose bun, pieces of her hair framing her face for they weren't pulled back with the rest of her hair. After her hair was secured, she lowered her hands, moving them behind her back, fingers latching together. She waited for his response.

Lachlan stepped forward again, closing the distance between them. He wondered if she knew who it was she was talking to addressing him as a simple "sir". Not that he was a stickler for being called Highness, Sire, or Prince - in fact he hated it - but sometimes it was warranted. "That's awfully brave of you," he told her. "Speaking to me as if I were a commoner. If there was someone else around you might have found a sword at your throat for disrepect."
He stepped in next to her, facing the view the ciff provided them. "Luckily for you, I am forgiving," he told her with a smile. "I sometimes come out here to clear my head. There are... places... around these cliffs where you can hide and no one would be able to find you. I used to play under that ledge in the rock right there when I was a child. My guards could never find me."
He pointed to the overlaying rock several feet down. His mother had taken him down to the cliffs as a child to let him play. It was still strange to walk down to the cliffs and not see her waiting there for him. The plague had taken her just a year before and it still made his stomach knot to think about it.
"Are you part of the Guard?" he asked her, not as a prince to his subject but as a commander of the army.

She knew who she was talking to and to prove that, she gave a slight bow. Her voice was low in responding. "M'lord, I know how some can hate being called all those respective titles, in fact I believe you to be one to hate being called 'Sire'. As for having a sword drawn to my throat, believe me if there was another near-by, I wouldn't have spoken to you in such a way."
Seeing him step closer to her and the smile on his lips, she returned it, smiling as she looks out at the view. She giggled a bit as he spoke of his hiding spot when he was younger. "I know what you mean, I used to play around here too. Almost died once, but that's another story that shall wait for another day." She looked over at him. "Though, m'lord, if I had to guard a child like what you were when you were younger, I swear I would never loose him. I may let him think that I lost him, but I'd know." She looked to where he pointed and smiled.
"I am not part of the Guards, I'm a freelancer. Though they know they can count on me if they need me. My loyalties are to you and our homes." She looks back at him. "I do sometimes train with your men though."
