Magick
Magick is a gift from the Gods to their Chosen protectors of the Hundred Key. A person with the gift of the Gods is known as a "mage". There are only 2 types of magicks: 1) elemental and 2) healing. Magick is a rare thing in Pem'Quali.
Elemental Mages
An elemental mage is a Chosen who can control the elements of Nature. There are four types: earth, air, fire, and water.
(NOTE: All the elements are dependent on each other. For instance, an Earth Elemental was a flower he/she just planted to grow faster. He/she will need soil (Earth) and Water to make the flower grow. He/she cannot control the water and will require assistance.)
Healing Mages - the ability of a magick user to heal wounds, cure disease, poisons or other health problems.
The stronger the mage, the stronger the magicks that can be used. However, high level spells and abilities require a lot of energy and will usually exhaust the mage.
Each mage is branded with a ruin symbolizing their proper skills. It's a birthmark and places them as a Chosen. Each symbol is unique. It describes the types of magick the Chosen can use and (if applicable) the elements at their disposal.

- Earth - the ability to summon, manipulate and control the elements of the earth. Can control things like land and vegitation.
- Air - the ability to summon, manipulate and control the element of air. Can control certain wind related weather types such as tornadoes, storms and hurricanes.
- Fire - the ability to summon, manipulate and control the element of fire at the mage's will. Unlike the rest, fire mages require very little preparation to use their abilities.
- Water - the ability to summon, manipulate and control the element of water.
